TigerBookMarket.com is the product of many years of frustration in buying and selling textbooks. It did not seem fair that a book that was bought for $160 could only fetch $20 at the end of the semester even though it was only used once and in mint condition. In January 2009, a couple of undergrads in business school, along with some crafty and tedious web development from Gatorworks Web Design, decided to change the way the college student went about buying and selling textbooks.
It is our goal that every college student have the opportunity to find the best price on a college textbook and retrieve the best price when selling it - and at no cost to the student. There is a better way to bring the textbook market to us, the students, and we feel that TigerBookMarket.com is that place.
