Let's break things down a bit.
BUY BOOKS
This tool allows us to search a database of thousands of published books. In just a few clicks, we can search the large online book retailers and our local peers right here on campus. Let's go through the steps.
1. Enter any search criteria you would like for your desired textbook. (Author, title, ISBN number...)
Press Enter
2. A results page will bring up books that match the search criteria you entered. Scroll down and select your exact book from the list. If your book does not appear in the first several listings, try searching using different criteria. (Try using the title instead of the author) Click on the icon "Compare Local and Online Prices."
3. At this point, the site is talking with major online retailers and retrieving there prices. When the page is finished loading, a description of the book along with the book's cover art is displayed. Further down the page is prices from whatever online retailer has the book you are looking for and listings of local users right here on campus.
If a local listing does not exist, you can enter your email and phone number and be contacted instantly when another user posts that book.
4. After reviewing the available prices available online and locally, click on the price and company of your choice. This link will take you directly to that company's website and allow you to purchase the book right then and there from that particular company. If it is a local user's listing, there email and possibly a phone number (if they chose to give it) will be displayed. Now, simply shoot them an email or call them to set up a meeting place on campus to exchange the book.
SELL BOOKS

3. Now click on the icon "Have This Book? Sell It!"
4. Simply fill out the small form that gives other users some basic information about the book and how to contact you.
5. Sit back and wait for an email or phone call (if you posted your number) and start getting more for used textbooks
CATEGORY
1. Select the category that best matches the subject or genre that you are wishing to search.
If a category does not match your desired subject or genre, simply use the text search box above and enter the subject or category of your choice.
2. Scroll through the results page until you find the desired book of your choice.
